Young Active Citizens (YACs) are young people who contribute to their communities and to
society as a whole. They are willing to examine their environments and respond to both the
positive and the negative aspects of the world they live in and are dedicated to transforming
their communities for the better. They disrupt the status quo—what’s common and what’s
expected—in order to ensure healthy, safe, positive atmospheres for themselves and for those
around them.
Qualifications:
- High School Student
- Tippecanoe County Resident
- Young Active Citizen in community and/or school
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- Plans to pursue higher education
